Comms Business Awards 2014 Finalist - Distributor of the Year
We are pleased to announce that ProVu have been short listed as a finalist in the Comms Business ‘Distributor of the Year’ Award 2014. There were originally twenty four distributors nominated for the award and as a result of the readers vote we are now down to the last five.

This year’s awards will take place on the 19th June at the Lancaster Hotel in London …wish us luck

Whether we are to win or not, we are extremely grateful to all of our customers who have voted for us.

Upcoming bank holidays – despatches and deliveries

We hope everyone is looking forward to the upcoming bank holidays. Please note we will be closed on:

  • Good Friday 19th April
  • Easter Monday 21st April
  • Bank holiday Monday 5th May
  • Bank holiday Monday 26th May

Despatches and deliveries will not be made on these days. APC can deliver on Saturday mornings over the bank holiday weekends, this can be done on request prior to despatch and will be charged at the standard Saturday delivery surcharge see our Saturday delivery prices.

Royal Mail and other courier services estimated delivery times will also be affected.

ITSPA Awards 2014: ProVu sponsor the “Best VoIP Innovation” Award

This years ITSPA Awards is taking place on Wednesday 5th March 2014 at Millbank Tower in London.

ProVu are proud to be sponsoring the “Best VoIP Innovation” Award. Our Sales Director Ian Godfrey and Managing Director Darren Garland will be attendance, so be sure to say hi.

Recent ProSys Changes

There have been a few changes made to ProSys recently, our online ordering and phone management system.

– We have removed some old alias partcodes from the pricelist. For instance `snom320-withPSU` also as `PVSnom320` (its old partcode)

Customers who read out XML or CSV price fields are unaffected.

– We have removed the old order form from ProSys. The new one is much better.

– If you use an individual ProSys user login then the order will appear against this in our systems. Before, order confirmations and such always went to the default user on the account.

– Yealink v70 Phone Management web interface now available for use

The new interface is available if the phone last provisioned on at least v70 firmware. Otherwise, the older interface will be presented.

ProVu are proud to have received snom Platinum Partner status for 2014 for a second year running. Platinum partner status is awarded in recognition of strong sales of snom products, as well as the high levels of technical support provided to resellers throughout 2013.

Due to recent growth, ProVu have appointed Anna as a new Sales Account Manager. Anna grew up in London and moved to Leeds to attend University 4 years ago.

Her hobbies include: art, music, reading, cooking, drinking Polish beer and travelling.

We are a rapidly expanding distributor of IP Telephony products based in Huddersfield. With the increasing take up of VoIP services, ProVu are experiencing a period of rapid growth. With 10 years VoIP industry experience, ProVu are recognised as the experts in distribution and technical services. We stock, configure and deliver products to and on behalf of our trade customers throughout the UK.

We are looking to expand our team:

  • Sales & Marketing Executive Job applications are now closed for this role
    Responsibilities include managing and maximising sales from existing and prospective customers as well as developing marketing initiatives to open new channels to market, launch new products and expand our reseller base.
  • Part Time Warehouse assistant Job applications are now closed for this role
    The hours are likely to be 13:30 – 17:30, responsibilities will include picking correct products for dispatch, processing orders, booking in of stock and making sure the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
