What’s New? 3CX Standard & Free Licences

As you may be aware, 3CX are changing their free and standard licences as of 1st April 2019. In order to help you prepare for these changes, we will be putting together a series of blogs which will break down the changes for you.

Changes to Standard Licences:

As part of the revamp, some features are being removed from Standard licences, these include:

  • Call recording
  • Call reporting
  • Queues
  • Office 365 Integration
  • Bridges

These features will remain available on Pro and Enterprise level licences. If you are already on a paid version of the Standard licence and still have valid maintenance you do not need to do anything, your licences will be upgraded to Pro free of charge for the remainder of the licence contract. Following the licence duration, you will need to renew your licence via Pro maintenance to maintain these features.

Changes to Free Version

All free licences downloaded from 3CX’s website after 1st April 2019 will be a V16 Pro annual licence. This licence will be valid for 40 days from the initial activation date. Following this, the licence key will then revert to a standard licence unless it is upgraded.

New Licence Sizes

There are a number of new licence sizes coming to annual licences (only), giving you even more options to cater for customers whose requirements fall somewhere in between, these include:

  • 24 SC
  • 48 SC
  • 96 SC
  • 192 SC

3CX recently made some changes to their partner program and ordering procedure to offer partners more options. These changes have now been implemented, meaning you can start to enjoy the benefits right away!

Licence Maintenance Renewals

You can now renew your perpetual and annual 3CX licences through ProVu making it even easier for you to streamline your order processing and gain access to our excellent pre and post-sales support.

As with all 3CX licences, renewals can be purchased with a ProVu credit account, giving you more flexibility.

Spread the cost of your renewals

Partner Levels

Traditionally based on quarterly reviews of your annual revenue, partner levels are now assessed every 6 months making it easier for you to forecast your margin and retain your partner status for a longer period of time.

3CX Basic Training Courses – 2019

With the New Year quickly approaching, now is the time to start to think about the new year that lies ahead. With that in mind, we have scheduled two 3CX Basic Training Courses for 2019. Whether you’re an experienced 3CX partner looking to refresh your knowledge or are looking to add 3CX to your portfolio, our courses are open to all resellers.

Taking place at our offices in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, our 3CX accredited trainer and Technical Support Manager, Andy Devine will be covering everything you need to know to sit the basic certification exam.

New updated configuration interface in ProSys Order form

We’ve recently made improvements to the user interface on ProSys which allows you to add configuration settings to the phones and routers you are ordering – we have also introduced more user friendly field names for adding configuration details to your routers.

For routers you are able to set PPP Username, PPP password, Wi-Fi SSID, Wi-Fi password, Disable WLAN and select a configuration template if you have multiple templates set up. This enables you to have routers shipped directly to your customers’ address pre-provisioned and ready to work automatically out-of-the-box. If you have default settings you would like to use for your devices, talk to our support team and we can work with you to set up your configuration templates.

Adding items to your basket – simply start typing in the item you would like to order and select the item from the drop down list. To add config setting to the items in your basket, click the ‘config’ button.

Did you know? You are also able to place orders using our Ordering API, for automated order processing between your systems and ours. Details include ordered items and quantities, delivery information, carrier service, branding settings and configuration details for zero touch provisioning.

We’ve been accredited Master Reseller by Cisco!

We’re delighted to announce we have been awarded the Master Reseller status by Cisco! Having launched the Multiplatform series of IP desk phones back in 2016, we have become the no.1 reseller in Europe, making us the optimal ITSP partner.

Improved accounts information in ProSys

We have made improvements to the way you can access and view your account information on ProSys. As part of our ongoing improvements to the systems and tools we make available for our customers, users are now able to view some key account information on from their online account.

Information available:

  • Credit information including limit, terms and balance
  • Current statement with a list of all outstanding invoices, credits and payments on account
  • List of your invoices for the last 90 days

Login in to ProSys and follow the link ‘Your accounts information’ to view your information.

Securing your account
We understand this information can be sensitive and you may not want all your ProSys users to access this information. Talk to us about who should see this information and to get your accounts team set up with log in details.

Did you know? You are able to pull a list of your invoices and credits for the last 60 days using our Invoice API. This API returns a JSON document and is useful data if you want to integrate directly with your accounting software or if you would like to output the data in your own system.
