Yealink T41P, T42G, T46G & T48G ‘End of Life’ Notice

Yealink T41P, T42G T46G & T48G End of Life

We have been informed by Yealink that the T41P, T42G, T46G and T48G are now end of life and are no longer available to purchase. These products will continue to be covered under Yealink’s warranty until 31/03/2021.

These devices will now be replaced by the T41S, T42S, T46S and the T48S which offer additional functionalities and advanced technology.

Power Supply data in ProVu’s API

The majority of SIP phones we supply are PoE, therefore many manufacturers have made the decision not to include a power supply as standard. Over the last few months we have seen an extraordinary demand for power supplies in response to the dramatic increase in remote working, power supplies can be a vital component in ensuring the best WFH set up.

We’ve recently extended our product information and ordering APIs to make it easier for our resellers to access information about UK power supplies for the phones we supply. This information is ready for you to use, making ordering even simpler.

How does it work?

For phones that don’t include a power supply as standard, we give you the part code of the required UK power supply in our product information API. You can then simply pass a setting with your API order request to auto include the associated UK PSU. You can request this either on a line-by-line basis or for the entire order.

The Benefits…

The advantage of using our data is if the power supply changes or new phones are listed, the data will be maintained by us and therefore there will be no need to update your data or code – giving you one less thing to worry about!

Information on accessing this data and ordering power supplies can be found in our API documentation. This can be found on ProSys. If you do not have a ProSys account or have forgotten your password, please complete our ProSys registration form.

Based on revenue growth, the Top 100 league table looks at figures based on the last three years. We have always found the awards incredibly interesting to attend, it’s always great to hear about the amazing achievements and businesses within our region.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony itself had to take a slightly different form this year. Nevertheless, we still got to enjoy a virtual event which gathered hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders from the global tech community.

One key takeaway from this year’s awards was the number of Channel companies listed in the league table. Coronavirus – What we’re doing to prepare

Coronavirus – What we’re doing to prepare

Given the current status of the Coronavirus pandemic, we would like to share some information on the measures we have put in place this week to ensure the long term reliability of ProVu as a distributor. We feel that our key function is to keep our warehouse operating, receiving stock and shipping out our customer orders, we have therefore taken the decision to physically isolate our warehouse operation team from the rest of the business and have enforced a remote working policy for all ProVu employees who are able to perform their roles outside of the office.

Our thinking is that the majority of our staff are trained to be able to work in the warehouse, should one of our existing warehouse team catch COVID-19 we may be forced to send the whole team home. In this instance, we would deep clean the area immediately and rotate our home working staff to cover these roles and maintain operation. We have enough staff trained to repeat this process at least five times.

We would like to reassure our partners that there are no current stock issues and no current personnel issues. We are taking this bold and early step to mitigate the future risk to our staff, our business and our customers.

We maintain focused on providing the very best services and fast delivery times to support you and your business. The intentions of these measures are to:

  • Protect our employees from being put at risk of catching COVID-19
  • Provide continuity to ALL of our operations, protecting our customers from supply issues
  • To continue to provide you with an outstanding level of service

Like everyone else, we are currently in unchartered territory, but as a technology company that uses its own products extensively we are in a strong position to adapt to this work methodology. Our move to send everyone home to work has been in place for two days and has gone extremely well with no disruption to our operations.
