As we creep closer towards the festive season, we’d like to share more details about our opening and shipping times over Christmas and the New Year. During this period, we will continue to ship orders via APC.

Please be aware, we will be running with a reduced number of staff between Christmas and New Year which may increase wait times.

Delivery Times

Avoid delays; orders placed on 23rd December will be attempted on the 24th, but are not guaranteed unless booked on a pre 12:00 service. Any orders not delivered on the 24th December will be re-attempted on 4th January unless specified otherwise.

Orders Placed on 29th or 30th December will be attempted to be delivered the same week.

For customers wishing to book with DPD, please be aware that the last collection date before Christmas will be the 23rd December. Orders collected on this date will be delivered on the 29th December, the next available collection date after this will be 4th January.

Please note: Throughout the Christmas period, we will be operating a ‘best endeavour’ service, therefore collection and delivery times may vary. If it is important that your orders are received on a specific day we would recommend considering selecting a pre 12:00 service with APC – please contact a member of our team to discuss your requirements.

The Customer

Stonerig Raceway are one of the UK’s leading racing centres. With eight different themed Scalextric race tracks and a full size Formula One and Touring Car Simulator, they provide a day out like no other for families, friends and petrol heads alike.

Unlike other racing centres, Stonerig Raceway offer visitors a flexible experience allowing them to come and go as they please. This demanded a flexible access control system which could be accessed and controlled remotely by staff, regardless of their physical location.

Business Challenges

Situated in an industrial area, Stonerig Raceway had a number of challenges they were looking to address. Having invested a lot of time and money developing their company image, the team at Stonerig Raceway identified that their old analogue system was outdated and was beginning to look a little unsightly. The limited functionality of their existing system was costing the company money with a number of missed deliveries and customer bookings.

The key factors Stonerig Raceway were faced with include:

  • Security – Both the business and lone workers needed to be secure.
  • Overall Look – Having spent time rebranding their business, the system installed at Stonerig Raceway’s premises needed to suit the aesthetics of the building as well as being easy to use as a customer-facing solution.
  • Presence – The team wanted to be able to answer calls wherever they were.

The Solution

Taking into consideration the requirements of Stonerig Raceway, we worked with 2N and our reseller to devlop the following solution which is also known as the 2N® Villa Kit.

Eastern Voice and Data supply to a range of businesses including those in the public sector, hospitality and private sectors. Always striving to provide the very best experience to their customers, Eastern Voice and Data work with carefully selected manufacturers and suppliers to ensure an optimal level of service.

Business Challenges

Eastern Voice and Data set out to create a secure, easily manageable solution for its client, a specialist academy providing 24-hour curriculum for students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. With a high turnover of staff, the academy found that they were spending a lot of time visiting sites to update their systems and ensure access rights were removed from former employees.

The key factors Eastern Voice & Data were faced with include:

  • Security – Security is key in edicational institutions, the site needed to be secure whilst also allowing staff to access areas at a push of a button or swipe of a key fob.
  • Integration – The solution needed to integrate with the existing systems and be easily managed by the central IT team.

The Solution

Security in schools is key and was the utmost priority when creating this solution. ProVu worked alongside 2N and Eastern Voice and Data to develop the ideal solution to address their application. The recommended solution consisted of:
